Let's welcome our very first Creative Design Team Members.........

We were totally overwhelmed by the response we had from our first Creative Design Team call out and wanted to invite so many others but had to make a final decision. Thank you so much to everyone who applied. We really loved seeing all your amazing creations.

Please welcome all the amazing ladies on our Creative Design Team.

Let’s welcome Lynn from

PrettyPapercrafts67

Lynn lives on the Redlands Coast in Queensland. She is a wife,

mum of two daughters and a Nanny to her gorgeous

Grandson. She is a fur baby mum as well.

Lynn has been an art and craft ‘dabbler’ for as long as she can

remember and first started her journey in furniture restoration.

Her first interest in papercrafts started with cardmaking and

scrapbooking and then progressed onto Mini Albums and

Memory Keeping.

Lynn tried her hand at creating Junk Journals about 5 years

ago and fell in love with the process. She has been creating

Junk Journals and Junk Journal related elements ever since.

She tends to lean toward a Vintage Grunge style but loves

some Shabby Chic influence as well.

A perfect day for Lynn is sitting in her craft space, playing with

pretty papers and glue.

Next, let’s welcome Julie from

Julie’s Papercraft

Julie is retired and lives in Adelaide with her very supportive

husband of 50 years.

Julie has been paper crafting for over twenty years and has

covered just about every papercraft you can think of.

Julie’s current love is Junk Journal making although she does

not use a journal herself. The fascination for her, is in the

making.

She says she watches way too much YouTube, but the

inspiration and enjoyment she gets from the

videos that fellow crafters post, keeps her full of

enthusiasm for this craft.

Julie doesn’t really have a particular style but says she leans

more towards the Vintage/Shabby style.

All the way from New York in the USA, please welcome Kimmy

from Kimmy Kim

Kimmy has been making crafty Goodies for about 30 plus years.

It started when she was very young and then later in her early

twenties, she made jewelry. She only worked with

gemstones and real sterling silver, as that's a firm favourite of

hers.

Kimmy then ventured into colouring and mixed media for a

little bit, and later junk journals as a therapeutic outlet and it

has really been incredible, she says. She has a real love for all

things botanical and nature.

Having a YouTube channel and reaching out through platforms

like Instagram and Facebook, has introduced her to a

wonderful community of artists.

Basically, in a nutshell, when she started junk journaling and

branching out meeting like-minded people with such great

talent, Kimmy said her life changed. When she is creating, she

feels at peace. Kimmy said that she has met some incredible

people and made some most amazing friends along her

journey.

Kimmy doesn’t have just one style and likes to leave herself

open to trying different things. Having said that, she does

lean towards a vintage/shabby chic style and loves making

Botanical Junk Jounals.

Next up, we would like to welcome Kate

from Pixie K Designs

Kate lives in Hawke”s Bay, New Zealand.

Kate has dabbled in arts and crafts all her life and was

introduced to scrapbooking by a friend many years ago. It was

then that she discovered a love of paper crafts.

In late 2018 after a long break from creating, she set up a little

studio in her small town in New Zealand and began making

cards and dabbling in mixed media scrapbooking, learning

from artists on line.  Kate soon stumbled across altered books

and junk journaling and has not looked back since.

Kate simply loves everything about making journals and junk

journaling.  She loves that it incorporates so many different

mediums and crafts.  From machine and hand sewing, book

making, memory keeping, journaling, mixed media, painting to

slow stitching and embroidery as well as the repurposing and

recycling of vintage and antique things others have discarded

or do not value.

Kate’s style is eclectic, which is her way of saying that she’s not

entirely sure what her style is yet, although she does love all

things old and vintage.

Kate said she is very much still learning and it is a fabulous

journey, one that she is extremely happy to be on.

Last but not least, welcome to Christine from

Aussie Rose Designs

Christine started AussieRoseDesigns in 2020, showing her

handmade and designed creations in her craft room at home,

in the beautiful South West of Western Australia.

Christine also makes videos of tutorials, flip through’s of junk

journals, journals, folders, folios, mini albums, collages, cards,

ephemera, techniques, altered books, children’s journals

and so much more.

She loves to create digital papers as well that can be used in

any type of craft project.

When she is not designing digital prints or creating for

AussieRoseDesigns, you can find her making sure that her

rescued dog Basil, who is about 12 years old, is being cared

for. As she makes videos you will hear Basil walking around,

usually from his bed to the back door.

Christine said her style is Vintage, French, Pretty, Country. So

it’s safe to say that she likes trying many styles.
